The Match of the Season

It is often said that the course of true love never did run smooth, and the courtship of Kari and Adam is a testament to this very notion. Our tale begins in the winter of 2021, orchestrated not by a ball, but by the modern matchmaker known as Bumble. It was a match that nearly did not come to pass—a scandal in itself!—yet from their very first promenade, it was undeniable that a spark had been struck.
However, the timing was not yet written in the stars. The couple chose to pause their courtship to tend to their individual lives, leaving us all in suspense. But, as we know, true affection cannot be stifled. By August of 2023, they reconnected as friends, yet their daily correspondence suggested that Providence had grander designs.
Then, a twist of fate! On November 18th, Adam secured a diamond necklace at a Charity Gala. Little did the Ton know, this very gem would be refashioned into the symbol of their future betrothal. Despite the arduous journey between their country seats in Granger and Kalamazoo, and the lively task of blending two houses—including Kari's young ladies, Lea and Claire, and Adam's young gentlemen, Brody and Aiden—their devotion only deepened.
Finally, in December 2024, amidst the woodland charm of a Tree House in East Leroy, Adam presented that fated diamond, asking Kari to be his wife. And she, quite sensibly, said yes.
